CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 23-08 <br /> APPROVING THE 2023-2024 LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LINO <br /> LAKES AND LELS,LOCAL NO. 299 <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Lino Lakes and Law Enforcement Labor Services, Local No. 299, <br /> representing the police officers, have reached an agreement for 2023-2024; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes <br /> approve the terms of the labor agreement, as follows: <br /> 1) COMPENSATION/WAGES: <br /> a) 3%general wage increase,plus 0.75%market adjustment effective January 1,2023 <br /> b) 3%general wage increase,plus 0.75%market adjustment effective January 1,2024 <br /> c) Investigator Stipend - The stipend (which will now be reflected as an hourly <br /> amount) will increase by $25 per month for each year of the contract; therefore, <br /> Police Officers assigned to Investigator will be provided an hourly stipend of$1.30 <br /> in 2023 and $1.44 in 2024. <br /> d) School Resource Officer Stipend—The stipend (which will now be reflected as an <br /> hourly amount) will increase by $25 per month for each year of the contract; <br /> therefore, Police Officers assigned to School Resource Officer will be provided an <br /> hourly stipend of$1.13 in 2023 and $1.27 in 2024. <br /> 2) INSURANCE: <br /> a) Article 19.1 (Health)revised to read: <br /> a) Effective January 1, 2023, the Employer will contribute 100% of the premium <br /> toward the base single plan ($588.64) and $1,212.98 toward the base family <br /> plan. <br /> b) Effective January 1,2024,the Employer will contribute 100%of the base single <br /> plan and $1,212.98 plus 50% of the 2024 premium increase toward the base <br /> family plan. <br /> c) The Employer's contributions toward the Health Savings Account and the cash <br /> option for waiving coverage remain the same. <br /> b) Article 19.3 (Dental) revised to read: <br /> i. Dental: The employer agrees to pay $51.04 a month toward dental insurance <br /> coverage. <br /> 3) HOLIDAYS: Article 18 was revised to mirror the language included in the Sergeant's <br /> contract (Employees scheduled to work on any of the listed holidays in Section 18.1 shall <br /> receive 1 '/_� times their regular rate of pay, which will be paid out in the pay period <br /> worked). <br /> 4) OVERTIME: Article 12 was revised to mirror the language included in the Sergeant's <br /> contract (Employees may carry over 20 hours of compensatory time into the following <br /> year). <br />
