17 <br />(a) The sign must be set back at least five (5) feet from a property linelot line; <br />(b) Only oneone (1) temporary off-premise sign shall be allowed per property and may be <br />displayed only if the property is not displaying any other temporary sign allowed under this Section <br />1010.007; <br />(c) Placement of the sign shall require permission from the underlying property owner; <br />(d) The sign shall only be displayed between 6:00 a.m. on a Friday and 6:00 a.m. the <br />following Monday; and <br />(e) The sign area shall be no larger than three (3) square feet in area and no higher than <br />four (4) feet above the ground to which it is attached. <br />(4) In PUD, Planned Unit Development Districts, temporary signs are regulated according to the <br />standards for the corresponding land use and zoning category as stated in this section, except that a sign <br />plan with differing requirements may be approved by the city. <br />(c) Display of a flag(s) does not require a sign permit. <br />§ 1010.008 ZONING DISTRICT REGULATIONS. <br />(1) Permanent signs in each zoning district must comply with the requirements of Table 2 of this <br />section: <br />(1) In the R Rural, R-X Rural Executive Residential District and R-BR Rural Business Reserve <br />District, all signs must comply with the requirements in § 1010.007 and Table 2 of this section. <br />(2) In the R-1 Single-Family Residential District, the R-1X Single-Family Executive Residential <br />District, the R-2 Two-Family Residential District, the R-3 Medium Density Residential District, the R-4 <br />High Density Residential District and the R-6 Manufactured Home Park District, all signs must comply <br />with the requirements in § 1010.007 and Table 2 of this section. <br />(3) In the NB Neighborhood Business District, LB Limited Business District, GB General <br />Business District and PSP Public and Semi-Public all signs must comply with the requirements in <br />§ 1010.007 and Table 2 of this section. <br />(4) In the LI Light and GI General Industrial Districts all signs must comply with the requirements <br />in § 1010.007 and Table 2 of this section. <br />(5) In the PUD Planned Unit Development Districts; permanent and temporary signs are regulated <br />according to the standards for the corresponding land use and zoning category as stated in this chapter. A <br />sign plan with differing requirements may be approved by the City.
