CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23-17 <br />APPROVING CONTRACT WITH PLAYPOWER LT FARMINGTON, INC. FOR <br />WATERMARK PARK PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT <br />WHEREAS, Watermark Park is being developed this year. Additional amenities that the City <br />will be coordinating outside the bid package include playground equipment, open air park <br />shelter, parking lot, and site amenities including picnic tables, benches, and bike racks; and <br />WHEREAS, staff is recommending entering into a contract with PlayPower LT Farmington, <br />Inc. via Sourcewell (formerly NJPA) for the Watermark Park Playground project in the amount <br />of $160,000; and <br />WHEREAS, this agreement fulfills the competitive solicitation and contract process required of <br />governmental agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, recommended funding is from the Dedicated Parks Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, hereby <br />authorizes staff to enter into a contract with PlayPower LT Farmington, Inc. for the Watermark <br />Park Playground project playground equipment in the amount of $160,000. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of February, 2023. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Councilmember ________________ and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />________________________ <br />Hannah Lynch, City Clerk
