Consider Resolution No. 23-13, Approving Construction <br />Services Contract with WSB & Associates <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br /> <br />Staff is requesting Council’s consideration to accept bids, award a construction contract, and <br />approve a construction services contract for the 2023 Street Rehabilitation Project. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On December 12, 2022, the City Council ordered the project and authorized the advertisement for <br />bid for the 2023 Street Rehabilitation Project. The proposed 2023 Street Rehabilitation Project <br />includes surface improvements, spot curb and gutter repairs, storm sewer repairs, and water <br />system repairs on the following streets: <br /> <br />Full Depth Reclamation (approximately 0.28 miles) – Black Duck Drive (from 200 ft north of <br />Crystal Court to the cul-de-sac). <br /> <br />Mill and Overlay (approximately 1.37 miles) – Black Duck Drive (from 100 ft south of East <br />Shadow Lake Drive to 200 ft north of Crystal Court), Crystal Court, Mallard Lane, East Shadow <br />Lake Drive (from Black Duck Drive to the cul-de-sac (excluding the recently reconstructed <br />intersection of East Shadow Lake Drive at Lantern Lane), Lantern Lane, Lantern Circle, and <br />Partridge Place. <br /> <br />The project included a bid alternate for a mill and overlay on Partridge Place in the event bid <br />prices permitted additional work within budget. <br /> <br />Bids were received on Thursday, January 26, 2023. A total of 7 bids were received and are <br />summarized in the following table: <br />
