Grant Details <br />•Supplemental SCORE grant funds have been approved by Anoka <br />County to pay for an organics structure. <br />•City Council approved accepting the grant funds and the original site <br />location at Sunrise Park on October 10th, 2022. Staff was instructed <br />to evaluate other potential site locations after residents near Sunrise <br />Park expressed concerns with the first location, which was under <br />construction at the time. <br />•Declining grant funds and defaulting on the signed contract will <br />necessitate payments both to a contractor who has already prepped <br />the Sunrise Park site and the fence contractor who has already <br />purchased specialized materials for this project.
