<br />WS – Item 7 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 7 <br /> <br /> <br />Date: March 6, 2023 <br /> <br />To: City Council <br /> <br />From: Michael Grochala, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Re: Improvement Projects – Land Acquisition offers <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Staff is currently working on three public improvement projects that will require <br />acquisition of land in fee title or permanent and temporary easements. These projects <br />include: <br /> <br />1. Water Treatment Plant, 6510 12th Avenue, – fee title of approximately 6.28 acres. <br />2. Hodgson/CR J improvements (trail extension), 298 Rohavic Ln - easement <br />3. Lake Drive Trunk Water Main Improvements, 7330 Lake Drive - easement <br /> <br />Minnesota Statutes, Section 13D.05, subdivision 3(c)(3), allows for the meeting to be <br />closed to discuss offers for the purchase, by the C ity, of the required property. Staff will <br />present proposed offer information at the closed portion of the meeting. <br /> <br />Requested Council Direction <br /> <br />Staff is requesting City Council direction to prepare offer letters to property owners. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />None
