CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 23-24 <br /> APPROVING THE DELEGATED CONTRACT PROCESS FOR <br /> FEDERALLY FUNDED PROJECTS <br /> WHEREAS,the Delegated Contract Process (DCP) is an agreement between MnDOT and local <br /> public agencies eligible to receive federal funds; and <br /> AND WHEREAS, The agreement outlines the roles and responsibilities associated with federal <br /> aid funds and allows for MnDOT to act as a local agency's agent in accepting these funds for <br /> construction projects; <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br /> 1. That pursuant to Minnesota Stat. Sec. 161.36,the Commissioner of Transportation be <br /> appointed as Agent of the City of Lino Lakes to accept as its agent, federal aid funds <br /> which may be made available for eligible transportation related projects. <br /> 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed for and on behalf of the City <br /> to execute and enter into an agreement with the Commissioner of Transportation prescribing <br /> the terms and conditions of said federal aid participation as set forth and contained in <br /> "Minnesota Department of Transportation Agency Agreement No. 1052220", a copy of <br /> which said agreement was before the City Council and which is made a part hereof by <br /> reference. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 27th day of March, 2023. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br /> Cavecgn and was duly seconded by Council Member Lyd£n and upon <br /> vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: bicient S'Ioeca-, <br /> Ra-c erty, Ruh ignd, Cav-egn <br /> The following voted against same: NOn£ <br /> Ro erty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> liaa i' <br /> Hannah Lynch, City lerk <br />
