CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 1G <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Sarah Cotton, City Administrator <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: March 27, 2023 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 23-30, Approving a Solicitor <br />License for Renewal by Anderson <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />Renewal by Anderson, 1920 County Road C West, Roseville, Minnesota has submitted a <br />solicitor’s license application to the City Clerk’s office. <br />The company representatives who will be working in Lino Lakes are Jonathan Hamblin <br />and Andrew Njogu. <br />The company representatives plan to travel through Lino Lakes’ neighborhoods going <br />door to door offering window and door replacement sales to interested potential clients. <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue this company a license. <br />The Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has performed the background checks and <br />indicated no reason to deny the application. <br />The application and all other required information is on file in the City Clerk’s office for <br />review. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Consider Resolution No. 23-30, approving the issuance of a Solicitor License to Renewal <br />by Anderson for a period of six months, commencing March 28, 2023. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
