<br /> WS – Item 1 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL AND PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 1 <br /> <br />Date: April 12, 2023 <br /> <br />To: City Council and Planning and Zoning Board <br /> <br />From: Michael Grochala, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Re: Gateway Design <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />The City retained the services of WSB & Associates to develop signage and streetscape design <br />guidelines for key gateway areas of the City. The City Council and Board met in October of <br />2022 to discuss potential elements. <br /> <br />Based on that input the design team has developed potential sign and streetscape concepts for <br />consideration. Representatives from WSB and Associates will present the concepts for review, <br />discuss cost considerations, and solicit comments from the group. Input received will be used to <br />develop a Gateway Design Guideline document. The document will be used to develop the final <br />design of streetscape improvements planned for the Hodgson/CRJ intersection improvements. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />1.
