The Recycling Intern recruits <br />Environmental Board members and other volunteers to walk at the end of the parade picking up <br />trash and recycling. Start recruiting volunteers early! <br />The Earth Day Family Celebration event is held once per year on the Saturday following Earth Day. <br />This event is a collaboration between Anoka County’s Wargo Nature Center, Lino Lakes, and other <br />government entities. <br />The City of Lino Lakes partners with Anoka County to hold Fix-it Clinics. Fix-It Clinics offer free <br />assistance from volunteers to disassemble, troubleshoot, and (hopefully) fix small household <br />appliances, clothing, electronics, mobile devices and more. <br />The City of Lino Lakes offers multiple recycling events throughout the year. “Recycling Saturday” is <br />held the third Saturday of every month (excluding August for Blue Heron Days).
