CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 23-37 <br /> RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES AND AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR 2023 <br /> SPRING BOULEVARD TREE PLANTING <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to a request for quotes for boulevard tree planting to take place in the <br /> spring of 2023, quotes were received and tabulated: <br /> CONTRACTOR CITY TREES DEVELOPER TOTAL QUOTE <br /> TREES <br /> Midwest Landscapes $21,005.00 $26,308.00 $47,313.00 <br /> Margolis Company $22,200.00 $28,305.00 $50,505.00 <br /> Davey Tree Expert $34,085.06 $42,604.64 $76,689.70 <br /> Company <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Midwest Landscapes is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS,the funding for the project is from the General Fund Forestry Budget and boulevard <br /> tree funds collected as part of development agreements for residential subdivisions; and <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that <br /> the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Midwest <br /> Landscapes for boulevard tree plantings in the amount of$47,313.00. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 24 day of April, 2023. <br /> The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Councilmember <br /> Cavegn and was duly seconded by Councilmember Stoesz and upon vote being taken thereon, <br /> the following voted in favor thereof: Cavegn, Stoesz, Lyden, Rafferty. <br /> The following voted against same: None.
