CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23-44 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH WSB <br />TO PREPARE A WETLAND BANK PROSPECTUS <br />WHEREAS, the City’s 2040 Comprehensive Plan identifies the establishment of wetland banks <br />to assist with natural resource protection as a priority to implement the goals of the City’s Local <br />Water Management Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the City is considering the purchase of property located at 7473 24th Avenue for <br />the purpose of establishing a wetland bank, and <br />WHEREAS, Preparation of a Prospectus document is a required step in the wetland bank <br />approval process; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the <br />Professional Services agreement with WSB and Associates is hereby approved and authorizes <br />staff to execute the agreement for Phase 1 work in the amount of $33,742. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that initiation of Phase 2 work shall require City Council <br />authorization prior to proceeding. <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 8th day of May, 2023. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was introduced by Council Member <br />_______________and was duly seconded by Council Member ________________ and upon <br />vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />The following voted against same: <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />________________________ <br />Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk
