Review Regular Agenda of June 14,2021 <br /> 15 Item 1L—Nature's Refuge—Mayor Rafferty asked how many extensions are allowed <br /> 16 for filing the final plat. Planner Larsen noted that it is up to the council; staff is getting <br /> 17 to a point where they believe the extensions should probably end. The developer is <br /> 18 working towards an end. <br /> 19 Expenditures—Administrator Cotton noted that the filing fee for Blue Heron Days road <br /> 20 closure is included as a non-budgeted expense. <br /> 21 Item 2A, General Obligation Reconstruction Bonds—Finance Director Lynch reported <br /> 22 that the City's financial consultant Terri Heaton will be reporting on the results of today's <br /> 23 bond sale. <br /> 24 Item 2B,2020 Annual Audit Report—Mayor Rafferty remarked that this item was <br /> 25 pulled from consent in order to highlight the good results. <br /> 26 Item 6A, Butler Addition—City Planner Larsen noted that this is the second reading of <br /> 27 the ordinance. The plat is expected a couple months down the line. <br /> 28 Item 6B,Nadeau Acres - City Planner Larsen noted the status of the development <br /> 29 (selling well). This is the 2nd Addition final plat. <br /> 30 Councilmember Lyden recalled there was some concern from neighbors about drainage; <br /> 31 has that remained an issue. Staff indicated that there have been no complaints. <br /> 32 Item 6D, Water Treatment Plant Pilot Study—Community Development Director <br /> 33 Grochala remarked that this matter was discussed at the council work session. He has <br /> 34 checked on the question of how long a study would remain valid and hears that the <br /> 35 Department of Health would accept findings up to five years. Mr. Grochala also noted <br /> 36 information gained on what else would be removed from the water by filtration. <br /> 37 Item 6E,2021 Street Maintenance Project—City Engineer Hankee explained the <br /> 38 funding behind the project and the process used to seek bids. Only one bid was received, <br /> 39 the bid is favorable to the City and staff is recommending acceptance of the bid and the <br /> 40 alternate. <br /> 1 <br />
