COUNCIL MINUTES <br />LINO LAKES CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />MINUTES <br /> <br />DATE: May 8, 2023 <br />TIME STARTED: 6:36 PM <br />TIME ENDED: 7:01 PM <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Stoesz, Lyden, Ruhland, <br />Cavegn, Mayor Rafferty <br />Staff members present: City Administrator Sarah Cotton; Community Development Director <br />Michael Grochala; Director of Public Safety John Swenson; Human Resources Director Meg <br />Sawyer; City Clerk Jolleen Chaika. <br /> <br />PUBLIC COMMENT <br />Public Comment was opened at 6:37 PM; no public comment was received. Public Comment <br />was closed at 6:37 PM. <br /> <br />SETTING THE AGENDA <br />The agenda was approved as presented with no additions or changes. <br /> <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION <br />Forest Lake Area Schools Superintendent Steve Massey <br />Superintendent Steve Massey, Lino Lakes Elementary Principal Sara Stratton, FLA Middle <br />School Prinicipal Jason Miller, and FLA High School Principal Jim Caldwell, presented an <br />overview of Forest Lake Area schools and highlighted successful programs which are positively <br />impacting students in the schools. <br /> <br />1.
