CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 23-60 <br /> AUTHORIZING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT, CABARET LICENSE, TEMPORARY <br /> ON-SALE LIQUOR LICENSE FOR ST. JOSEPH'S CATHOLIC CHURCH <br /> WHERAS, the St. Joseph's Catholic Church has applied for a Special Event Permit, a <br /> Cabaret License, and a Temporary On-Sale Liquor License for the annual parish festival on <br /> August 12-13, 2023; and, <br /> WHERAS,the event plan includes two days of music, food, beverages, and games; and, <br /> WHEREAS,proof of general liability insurance has been submitted by St. Joseph's <br /> Catholic Church to cover all events held on the church property; and, <br /> WHEREAS, hired security will be onsite during the event and wrist bands will be <br /> required for any sale of alcoholic beverages; and, <br /> WHEREAS, city staff has reviewed the applications as well as event site plan for <br /> compliance with city ordinance and regulations. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino <br /> Lakes, Minnesota: <br /> That the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit, a Cabaret License, and a <br /> Temporary On-Sale Liquor License to St. Joseph's Catholic Church for August 12-23, 2023. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 10th day of July, 2023. <br /> b afferty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />
