CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 23-83 <br /> ACCEPTING A MONETARY DONATION FROM KWIK TRIP <br /> TO LINO LAKES PUBLIC SAFETY <br /> WHEREAS, the Lino Lakes City Council is generally authorized to accept donations of <br /> real and personal property, including monetary donations, pursuant to Minn. Stat. §465.03 for the <br /> benefit of the citizens of the City of Lino Lakes; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Kwik Trip has offered to donate $1000 to the City of Lino Lakes for the <br /> benefit of the Public Safety Department; and, <br /> WHEREAS, this donation has been contributed to the City of Lino Lakes for the benefit <br /> of its citizens, as allowed by law, and, <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council finds it is appropriate to accept this donation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota that: <br /> 1) The donation from Kwik Trip in the amount of$1000 is graciously accepted; and, <br /> 2) The donation shall be appropriated to the Public Safety Department in accordance with <br /> the wishes of the donor. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council expresses its gratitude to Kwik <br /> Trip for the donation. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 14th day of August, 2023. <br /> Ro ffert ayor <br /> Y <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />
