CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 23-79 <br /> ACCEPTING BASE BID AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT <br /> LAKE DRIVE TRUNK WATER MAIN PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the Lake Drive Trunk <br /> Watermain Project,bids were received, opened and tabulated according to law, and the following <br /> bids were received complying with the advertisement; and <br /> Contractor Total Base Bid <br /> Geislinger& Sons $315,650.01 <br /> Bituminous Roadways, Inc. $318,147.50 <br /> Northdale Construction $347,467.92 <br /> Meyer Contracting, inc. $385,923.16 <br /> GM Contracting, Inc. $659,172.70 <br /> WHEREAS, it appears that Geislinger& Sons is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the city to proceed with <br /> the project, <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br /> 1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with <br /> Geislinger& Sons in the amount of$315,650.01 by the name of the City of Lino Lakes for <br /> the construction of the 2023 Lake Drive Trunk Watermain Improvements according to the <br /> plans and specifications approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City <br /> Clerk. <br /> 2.
