This construction services proposal <br />would be subsequent to the City Council awarding the construction contract. <br /> <br />The project includes directionally drilling new 12-inch diameter water main along Lake <br />Drive (CSAH 23) from Forsham Lake Drive to Park Court (approximately 0.18 miles) to <br />connect the existing water systems. <br /> <br />Scope of Engineering Services <br /> <br />WSB is pleased to provide professional construction engineering services for the Lake <br />Drive Trunk Watermain Improvements including contract administration, construction <br />observation, construction staking, and public notice and weekly updates for project <br />stakeholders. Below is a detailed description of the engineering services and WSB’s <br />proposed approach. <br /> <br />I. Construction Services <br />a. Project Management/Contract Administration <br />Contract Administration includes holding meetings with the contractor & City <br />of Lino Lakes (preconstruction & weekly construction), processing monthly <br />quantities for pay vouchers, and communicating with residents on a regular <br />basis. <br /> <br />b. Construction Observation <br />WSB will provide an experienced engineering specialist whose <br />responsibilities will include communicating with the Contactor as an agent of <br />the City, calculating and keeping track of daily construction quantities and <br />costs, contact and meet with residents as necessary, and work with the <br />Contractor to assist with a quality constructed product. <br /> <br />c.
