Staff anticipates that it would be cost approximately $100,000 to conduct a fire staffing study in <br />Lino Lakes. <br /> <br />As noted during the Minnesota Public Safety Aid discussion with Council on July 10, 2023, use of <br />the Public Safety Aid funds to hire a consultant to conduct a fire staffing study would be a <br />permissible use. The staff report from July 10th Council Work Session is attached for your <br />review. <br /> <br />The Lino Lakes Fire Division has a specific budget within the City’s General Fund although there <br />are expenditures that can be attributed to the LLFD within other department budgets. Bringing <br />together all of those expenditures is represented in the attached Total Cost of Fire Services <br />2008-2024.
