Planning & Zoning Board
August 9, 2023
Page 2

APPROVED MINUTES

6. ACTION ITEMS

A. Milestones Addition Final Plat

Ms. Larsen presented the staff report.

The applicant, MEP Lino Lakes, submitted a land use application for Milestones
Addition final plat. The plat creates 2 commercial lots. Lot 1 is 1.86 acres for the
purpose of constructing a 16,941 sf commercial day care facility called Lil’ Explorers
Childcare Center. Outlot A will be a future commercial development and a formal site
plan will be reviewed at later date.

Jennifer Schultz, representing Milestones, was in attendance. She had no questions or
comments.

Mr. Root questioned if the Engineer staff report contained open items. Ms. Larsen said
there were some minor items they were working through, but it did not affect the final
plat.

Mr. Laden moved to approve the Milestones Addition Final Plat subject to conditions
listed in the staff report. Motion seconded by Mr. Kohler. Motion carried 7-0.

7. DISCUSSION ITEMS

A. Project Updates

Ms. Larsen provided an update on projects.

Mr. Laden questioned if Sadder Automotive was going to be recognized by the City and
if it was added to the City Council agenda. Ms. Larsen believes it is still part of the
narrative and that she will look into it.

Mr. Vojtech moved to adjourn the meeting. Motion seconded by Mr. Kohler. Meeting
adjourned at 6:42 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
Julie Whitney – Community Development Administrative Assistant
