Th e Co unty recognizes <br />th at th is f u ndin g is n eeded to support establish ed in frastructu re co sts that exceed the Base and each co mmunities funding. To <br />be eligib le fo r gran t f u n d s, mu n icipalities mu st apply for these funds. A pplicants must itemize expen d itures with in each o f the <br />th ree grant sectio ns, Dro p -o ff, General Enhancement an d Organ ics Pro gram, below and calculate the total gran t requ est for each <br />category. <br />Drop-off Grant <br />This gran t is allo cated to cover additio n al dro p-off center costs o r even ts beyond the regu larly sch eduled sprin g and fall <br />recycling days. <br />The grant for this section is $10,000.00 for munic ipalities with up to 4,999 households and <br />$15,000.00 for municipalities with household counts 5,000 and over. <br />Belo w are examples of materials that can be collected fo r reuse o r recycling.
