CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 6I <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee PE, City Engineer <br />MEETING DATE: October 9, 2023 <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 23-106, Adopting Assessments, 2023 <br />Individual Properties <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br />_______________________________________________________________ <br />INTRODUCTION <br />Staff is requesting City Council consideration to adopt assessments for properties where the <br />owners have requested connection to City utilities and have entered into a Petition and Waiver <br />Agreement. <br />BACKGROUND <br />The property owners have submitted a signed waiver, which waives their rights to a hearing and <br />waives their rights to appeal under the Lino Lakes City Charter and/or Minnesota Statute 429 <br />provided that the assessment associated with the improvement is levied against their property. <br />The City will adopt assessments for the following individual properties, which requested <br />connection to city utilities: <br />-785 Vicky Lane <br />The total amount to be assessed is $9,294.00.
