Grills were discussed and it
was noted by Ms . Amberg and Mr. DeGardner that the MN League of Cities
discouragesk installing galls in a park for liability reasons .
The Board discussed the half-court basketball court design . The design includes room
for expansion to a fi 11 court and they discussed the potential for a pickle ball court.
Items noted were that full courts will invite more people and noise . The other half of
the court could be changed to accommodate pickle ball or a multi-use court . It was
decided that two half-courts with one being a basketball and one being a multi-use
would be the most sensible and accommodating design concept . A suggestion was
made to keep the half basketball court and add a half multi-use court which the Board
agreed on.
Park Board Minutes
April 6, 2015
Page 1 2
