9. The landscape plan shall be compared to all applicable CPTED <br /> (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) standards and reviewed by <br /> the police department. <br /> 10. Trees and shrubs shall not be planted in the right of way without <br /> City authorization and shall not be planted in easements without authorization <br /> from the holder of the easement. <br /> 11. Turf slopes in excess of three to one (3:1) are prohibited. <br /> 12. Commercial, industrial, multi-family, public/semi-public, and <br /> institutional uses shall install irrigation systems to ensure survivability of <br /> landscape materials. <br /> 0) Tree Preservation and Mitigation Standards. The purpose of <br /> these standards is to protect valuable trees and stands of vegetation, while not <br /> interfering with landowners' reasonable use and development of property. The goal <br /> is to minimize unnecessary loss of habitat, biodiversity and forest resources, and to <br /> replace removed trees in areas where tree cover is most critical.
