CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 23-120 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE COMPENSATION PLAN FOR THE PART-TIME FIREFIGHTER <br />POSITION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes has integrated fire services into the Public Safety Department; <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the wages and compensation of part-time fire personnel are a vital component of <br />an effective recruitment and retention program; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes values a professional and engaged workforce; and <br />WHEREAS, an in-depth analysis of the position’s requirements was performed and the position <br />was benchmarked against similarly situated positions within the City to ensure internal equity; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, based on the results of the position re-evaluation the Keystone Job Leveling System <br />places the position of PT Firefighter at a Job Grade of 130 within the Lino Lakes Compensation <br />Plan; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes that the Lino <br />Lakes Compensation plan is amended to place the position of PT Firefighter at a Job Grade of <br />130 effective November 19, 2023. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 13th day of November, 2023. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />________________________ <br />Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br /> <br />Lino Lakes Salary Range Matrix and Steps <br />Year Position(s) Grade <br />Starting <br />Rate Step-1 Step-2 Step-3 Step-4 Step-5 Step-6 <br />2023 Firefighter (PT) 130 $23.88 $24.54 $25.21 $25.90 $26.62 $27.35 $28.09 <br />2024 Firefighter (PT) 130 $24.78 $25.46 $26.16 $26.88 $27.62 $28.37 $29.15 <br />123
