BUILD EFFICIENT FACT-FINDING SYSTEMS <br /> The Axtell Group will work closely with department leaders to review their <br /> ability to quickly gather and confirm facts, identify and respond to information <br /> gaps, and share data in a context that enables strategic decision making: <br /> Identify likely data needs: While no two crises are exactly alike, there are <br /> specific data that agency leaders commonly need. The Axtell Group will work <br /> with agency leaders to identify these data points as well as the most effective <br /> and efficient way to access them. <br /> Review data-gathering systems: The Axtell Group will review the current <br /> systems for gathering accurate information related to dynamic scenes, sensitive <br /> situations and complex issues. <br /> Revise or establish the systems: Based on the findings from the review of the <br /> data-gathering systems, The Axtell Group will work with city leadership <br /> to revise or establish systems to ensure that the right protocols in place to <br /> identify data needs, connect with the correct Crisis Team and member, and <br /> quickly find and confirm facts. <br />Following these steps ensures that the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department has <br />efficient and effective fact-finding systems in place to address organizational crises <br />large and small. <br />(continued on next page) <br />Scope of work, continued <br />4 <br />131
