The Fire Division also supports the Andall Street connection to improve response times to the <br />entire area. <br />City Engineer <br />The City Engineer provided comments in the attached letter dated November 1, 2023. <br />Environmental Board <br />The Environmental Board reviewed the PUD concept plan on October 25, 2023. General <br />comments included the need for a rare plant and animal survey, tree preservation, wetland <br />protection and restoration. <br />Park Board <br />The Park Board reviewed the concept plan on November 1, 2023. The Board recommended a <br />100% cash dedication in lieu of dedicating land for a neighborhood park. The cash dedication <br />could be utilized for trails, providing leisure opportunities at Lino Lakes Elementary, and making <br />enhancements to Arena Acres Park. <br />Since the meeting, staff reached out to the Forest Lake School Superintendent. The <br />superintendent expressed an interest in furthering the conversation regarding a school-city <br />partnership. Staff will continue those discussions with the school. <br />Planning & Zoning Board <br />The Planning & Zoning Board reviewed the PUD concept plan on November 8, 2023. The Board <br />had the following general comments: <br />•What are anticipated house prices? <br />o Villa: starting $499,000 <br />o Single Family: starting $550,000 <br />•Why targeting older population target? <br />o Demand for single level life cycle housing <br />•Villas are not age-restricted <br />•How many conservation developments has M/I Homes done? <br />o Woodland Cove in Minnetrista, MN <br />o Lakes in Blaine in Blaine, MN <br />o Carmichael Ridge in Hudson, WI <br />39
