76 <br /> <br />• Hats or caps (excluding public services and building inspectors) <br />• Sports jerseys (unless part of a planned employee event/theme day) <br />• House slippers <br />Employees are allowed to wear jeans that are clean, not faded, free of rips, tears, fraying and <br />not excessively tight or revealing. <br /> <br />Employees are allowed to wear tasteful sneakers that are clean, well kept, and in good <br />condition. <br /> <br />Employees are allowed to wear dress sandals that are professional, clean, well kept, and in <br />good condition. Beach flip flops are not allowed. <br /> <br />Employees who need an accommodation associated with a protected status such as religion or <br />disability should speak with Human Resources to obtain approval to deviate from this policy. <br /> <br />8.11 IT Acceptable Computer Use Policy <br />The City has adopted Metro-INET’s Acceptable Use Policy to protect the security and integrity of <br />electronic information systems. In addition to the terms of Metro-INET’s Acceptable Use Policy, <br />the following terms apply to all City employees. <br />All technology systems are the property of the City of Lino Lakes and/or Metro-INET. This <br />includes, but is not limited to, all hardware, software, programs, applications, templates, <br />documents, internal and external email messages, internet logs, and data files developed or <br />stored on technology systems owned or leased by the City or Metro-INET. The City reserves the <br />right to inspect, monitor, access, and retrieve any data, messages, settings, files, or other <br />components of City or Metro-INET technology at any time without an employee’s consent. Users <br />should have no expectation of privacy in the use of City or Metro-INET technology. This includes <br />personal email messages, files, Internet logs, or other data.A. Purpose and Scope <br />This policy serves to protect the security and integrity of the City’s electronic communications <br />and information systems by educating employees about appropriate and safe use of technology <br />resources. This policy applies to all individuals granted access to the City’s network and <br />information systems. This policy includes all City-owned computers, as well as those connected <br />to the City’s network. <br />B. Securing Desktop and Notebook Computers <br />Users will ensure reasonable physical safeguards to maintain desktop and notebook computer <br />and peripheral equipment in such a way to avoid inadvertent disclosure of City information. <br />When leaving a desktop or notebook computer unattended, users shall apply the "Lock <br />Workstation" feature where systems allow. <br />118
