CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 23-136 <br /> APPROVING A SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT,A TEMPORARY LIQUOR LICENSE,AND AN <br /> EXEMPT GAMBLING PERMIT TO CONDUCT A RAFFLE FOR THE CENTERVILLE LIONS CLUB <br /> WHERAS, the Centerville Lions Club has applied for a Special Event Permit, a Temporary <br /> On-Sale Liquor License, and an Exempt Gambling Permit for the club's annual fishing contest on <br /> Centerville Lake; and, <br /> WHERAS, the event plan includes ice fishing, service of food and beverages, and a raffle <br /> on Saturday, February 17, 2024; and, <br /> WHEREAS, proof of general liability insurance and liquor liability insurance has been <br /> submitted by the Centerville Lions Club cover the ice fishing contest on February 17, 2024; and, <br /> WHEREAS, club has obtained the property permits from Anoka County, including the <br /> water use permit, and the temporary food establishment license; and, <br /> WHEREAS, city staff, including the Public Safety Department, has reviewed the <br /> permit applications and plan for the event for compliance with city ordinance and <br /> regulations. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> That the City Council authorizes issuance of a Special Event Permit and approval of a Temporary <br /> Liquor License and Exempt Gamling Permit for the Centerville Lions Club for the 2024 annual <br /> ice fishing contest on Centerville Lake on February 24, 2024 <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 11th day of December, 2023. <br /> i p-' t24 t`f _ <br /> Rob Rafferty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />
