( ZO 2-0Z4 <br /> 2nd Reading: o1--/i /1-'024 Effective: 05/ 2.p / 2-024 <br /> CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 02-24 <br /> ORDINANCE REZONING PROPERTY FROM R-1X, SINGLE FAMILY <br /> EXECUTIVE TO PSP, PUBLIC AND SEMI-PUBLIC FOR CITY WATER <br /> TREATMENT PLANT (6590 12TH AVENUE) <br /> The City Council of Lino Lakes ordains: <br /> Section 1. Findings of Fact. <br /> 1. The City is rezoning the property located at 6590 12th Avenue from R-1X, Single Family <br /> Executive to PSP, Public and Semi-Public for the purpose of constructing a City water <br /> treatment plant. <br /> 2. The Planning & Zoning Board held a public hearing on January 10, 2024. <br /> 3. Per City Code Section 1007.015 (4): <br /> (d) The Planning and Zoning Board shall hold the public hearing and consider possible <br /> adverse effects of the proposed amendment. Its judgement shall be based upon, but not limited <br /> to, the following factors: <br /> 1. The proposed action is consistent with the official City Comprehensive Plan. <br /> The proposed rezoning and future water treatment plant are consistent with the City <br /> Comprehensive Plan's Water Supply goal to provide the City's residents and businesses with <br /> affordable potable water that is safe and of high quality for daily consumption and fire demand. <br /> 2. The proposed action is or will be compatible with present and future land uses of <br /> the area. <br /> The proposed rezoning and future water treatment plant are compatible with present and future <br /> land uses of the area. <br /> 3. The proposed action conforms with all performance standards contained herein. <br /> The proposed future water treatment plant shall conform with all performance standards. <br /> 4. The proposed action can be accommodated with existing public services and will <br /> not overburden the City's service capacity. <br /> The proposed future water treatment plant can be accommodated with existing public services <br />
