CITY OF LINO LAKES <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 24-17 <br /> Approving New Massage Enterprise and a Massage Therapist Licenses <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Lino Lakes requires all businesses and therapists <br /> offering therapeutic massage services to apply on a city-approved application form for <br /> a Massage Enterprise License and a Massage Therapist License; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Loreen Freeberg, owner of Hair and Make-up by Loreen, has applied for <br /> a Massage Enterprise License and a Massage Therapist License in order to offer therapeutic <br /> massage services at the salon she operates located in Lyngblomsten; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Ms. Melody Nelson has applied for a Massage Therapist license to provide <br /> massage therapy services at the salon located in Lyngblomsten; and, <br /> WHEREAS, City staff, including Public Safety, has reviewed the applications <br /> and background investigation materials and has found that the applicants meet local <br /> licensing requirements; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, <br /> Minnesota: <br /> The City of Lino Lakes hereby approves the issuance of a Massage Enterprise License to Loreen <br /> Freeberg and a Massage Therapist License to Melody Nelson, to provide massage therapy <br /> services at Lyngblomsten, effective until June 30, 2024 unless cancelled or revoked before <br /> that date. <br /> Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes this 26th day ofr// February, 2024. <br /> 1 <br /> R rty, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />
