<br /> <br />Q4 Notable Actions & Events <br /> <br />• On October 12th, staff participated in the Women in Law Enforcement Breakfast at Century <br />College. <br />• On October 14th, in recognition of Fire Prevention Week, staff hosted a Public Safety Open <br />House at Fire Station #2. <br />• On October 18th, staff hosted Coffee with a Cop at the Lino Lakes Caribou Coffee. <br />• On October 20th, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Explorers group participated in the Duluth <br />Explorer Conference. <br />• On October 28th, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department participated in the National <br />Prescription Drug Take Back Day. <br />• On November 1st, staff participated in a service project at Feed my Starving Children with the <br />Century College Mentoring program. <br />• On November 2nd, staff participated in a Community Forum at Eagle Brook Church addressing <br />the exploitation and trafficking of Anoka County Youth. <br />• On November 8th, staff gave a recruiting presentation at UW-Superior. <br />• On November 9th, staff assisted with a Boy Scout visit and K9 Demonstration at the Public <br />Safety Department. <br />• On November 16th, the Lino Lakes Public Safety Department conducted the first session of the <br />DNR Youth Snowmobile Certification Class. An additional class was held on December 7th. <br />• On November 20th and December 1st, Officer Mobraten gave Heart Safe presentations at <br />Centennial Middle School and the Pines School. <br />• On November 27th, staff participated in a Feed my Starving Children service project. <br />• During 4th quarter staff gave 3 Drug Recognition and Education Presentations. <br />• Police and Fire staff participated in the Heroes and Helpers Holiday shopping spree for <br />community youth at the Blaine Target store. <br />• On December 6th, staff hosted Coffee with a Cop at Starbucks in the Lino Lakes Target. <br />• On December 16th, the Snowmobile Safety Practical was held at Centerville Lake. <br /> <br />
