Director Swenson said he 90 <br />made the decision to not move on certification without an offer. 91 <br />Council Member Stoesz asked if there is any cost involved in removing the Lino Lakes graphics. 92 <br />Director Swenson explained that the removal of graphics will be handled in the same fashion as for sale 93 <br />of the other truck. 94 <br /> 95 <br />Council Member Rafferty moved to approve Resolution No. 18-11 as presented. Motion carried on a voice vote. 97 <br /> 98 <br />PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT REPORT 99 <br /> 100 <br />There was no report from the Public Services Department. 101 <br /> 102 <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT REPORT 103 <br /> 104 <br />6A) Public Hearing: Consider Ordinance No. 02-18, Vacating Drainage and Utility Easement 105 <br />Lot 15, Block 2 of NorthPointe 2nd Addition – City Engineer Hankee explained the background for this 106 <br />request for easement. A property owner on Palm Street wishes to construct a deck that would cover a 107 <br />portion of this easement. Upon review with Xcel Energy, they are in agreement to the request to vacate a 108 <br />portion of the utility easement as requested by the property owners. 109 <br /> 110 <br />Mayor Reinert opened the public hearing. 111 <br /> 112 <br />There being no one present wishing to speak, the public hearing was closed. 113 <br /> 114 <br />Council Member Stoesz moved to approve the 1st Reading of Ordinance No. 02-18 as presented. 115 <br />Council Member Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 116 <br /> 117 <br />6B) Pavement Management Program: i. Consider Resolution 18-13, Accepting 2017 Pavement 118 <br />Management Report; ii. Consider Resolution 18-14, Authorize the Preparation of Plans and 119 <br />Specifications, 2018 Mill and Overlay Project – City Engineer Hankee reviewed her written report. 120 <br />For the 2018 Mill and Overlay Project, she explained the areas that would be covered in this year’s 121 <br />project, the estimated cost, and funding source proposed. The schedule for the project was also 122 <br />reviewed. Council Member Stoesz asked about striping and Ms. Hankee indicated that it will remain 123 <br />the same. Council Member Rafferty asked if the estimated costs include soft costs and Ms. Hankee said 124 <br />yes. Council Member Rafferty confirmed that staff anticipates a good bid based on the time line. 125 <br /> 126 <br />Council Member Maher moved to approve Resolution No. 18-13 as presented.
