<br />WS – Item 2 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 2 <br /> <br /> <br />Date: March 5, 2018 <br /> <br />To: City Council <br /> <br />From: Michael Grochala, Community Development Director <br /> <br />Re: 2040 Comprehensive Plan – Mixed Use Districts <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />At the February 5, City Council work session the City Council directed staff to modify the draft <br />2040 Land Use Plan to guide the Winter Property as Mixed Use. The development parameters <br />provide for 50% of the property to be used for residential purposes at 4.0 to 5.9 units per acre <br />and the balance of the land commercial consistent with the adjacent business campus designation <br />to the south. <br /> <br />Staff incorporated this change into the draft plan and discussed the mixed used districts with the <br />Planning and Zoning board at their February 14, 2018 meeting. Based on discussions at both the <br />City Council meeting and the Planning and Zoning board staff has prepared an overview of the <br />Mixed Use districts, changes from last plan, individual district provisions and development <br />review process. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />1.
