Background <br />•In April 2017, the City of Lino Lakes kicked off the 2040 <br />Comprehensive Plan update with a joint Council/Board workshop <br />•The feedback from the Council was that things were generally going well, this <br />should be an update and no major changes were planned <br />•The Council directed the P&Z to be the working group for the update <br />with regular council check-ins <br />•There were two open house/outreach meetings for the public <br />•The Comprehensive Plan is the vision for how the City will develop <br />•It provides general land use guidance <br />•The Zoning Map and Zoning Ordinance are the primary tools to <br />implement the Comprehensive Plan vision
