WS – Item 1 <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />Work Session Item No. 1 <br />Date: <br />To: <br />From: <br />Re: <br />April 2, 2018 <br />City Council <br />Julie Bartell <br />2018 Board of Appeal <br />Background <br />Each year, the city council acts as the Board of Appeal and Equalization for the City. <br />The purpose of the Board is to hear from property owners in the city who have questions <br />or concerns about the appraised value of their property for the coming year. The Board <br />has the authority to determine whether taxable property in Lino Lakes has been properly <br />valued and classified by the Anoka County Assessor. <br />This year the Board meeting is scheduled for April 23 at 6:00 p.m., previous to the <br />regular council meeting. <br />Anoka County Assessor’s Office staff will be in attendance at tonight’s work session to <br />review the attached board report for this year’s meeting. <br />Attachments <br />2018 Board of Equalization Report
