Dept. of Natural <br />Resources (DNR) <br />3/23/18 – A letter was sent to the DNR <br />Commissioner objecting to the City’s <br />amended Water Appropriation Permit, <br />which imposed several new conditions <br />arising out of the Ramsey County Court <br />Order <br />Jeff A bipartisan bill addressing <br />the judge’s orders for WBL <br />has passed the Environment & <br />Natural Resources <br />Committees in the House and <br />Senate <br />Upgrade of HD Audio/Visual <br />Equipment in Council <br />Chambers and Control Room <br />4/23/18 – Another project manager was <br />assigned to complete punch list items <br />Jeff Legs will be installed under <br />the dais, chalk will be <br />replaced, and trim work on <br />podium will be finished <br />Culvert Maintenance ACD <br />10-22-32 <br />7/5/17 – Staff was directed to monitor the <br />culvert and to work with the RCWD on a <br />longer term solution <br />Mike RCWD cleaned the culvert. <br />Staff continues to monitor it. <br />Labor Negotiations Update AFSCME – City gave union “last, best <br />final offer” <br />Local 49 – Final offer was made, but no <br />further action has been taken <br />LELS 299 (Police Officers) – Both sides <br />submitted final positions for arbitration <br />LELS 260 (Sergeants) – Filed for <br />mediation <br />Jeff AFSCME will vote on the <br />City’s final offer <br /> <br />LELS 299 – Arbitrator has <br />been assigned; no date yet <br /> <br />LELS 260 – Mediation <br />scheduled for June 20th <br />Employment Update The following positions have been <br />posted: police officer and second PT <br />bldg.
