<br /> <br />CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 18-52 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION REJECTING BIDS FOR THE 2018 LAMOTTE AREA STREET AND <br />UTILITY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the construction of the 2018 Lamotte Area <br />Street and Utility Improvement Project, bids were received, opened and tabulated according to <br />law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement; and <br /> <br />CONTRACTOR TOTAL BASE BID <br />Park Construction Company $1,236,597.82 <br />Arnt Construction Company, Inc. $1,238,274.84 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it appears that Park Construction Company is the lowest responsible bidder; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bids received were more than the project budget as determined by the feasibility <br />report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be in the best interests of the City to reject the <br />bids and rebid the project at a later date. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lino Lakes: <br /> <br />1. The bids received are hereby rejected.
