7. Continue implementation of the Lino Lakes EAB Plan. Update the plan as needed <br /> based on the 2017 identification of EAB in Lino Lakes, experience gained during <br /> implementation, and rapidity of the spread of EAB throughout the City’s forests. <br /> Offer residents opportunities for tree purchasing and possibly tree treatment. Obtain <br /> interns and train them in Ash Tree Treatment. Continue treating a third of our <br />City boulevard trees. <br /> <br />8. Continue to evaluate wetland bank opportunities to support natural resource <br /> restoration and protection. <br /> <br />9. Continue to monitor the Heron rookery in Peltier Lake and to support the protection <br /> of resources in that area. Update Council on these matters. Recruit volunteers, as <br /> needed, to help with rookery maintenance and monitoring. <br /> <br />10. Support and implement surface water management projects. <br /> <br />11. Support the maintenance of established conservation easement areas where funding <br />is available. Conduct education as needed for homeowners near or adjacent to these <br />easements. <br /> <br />12.
