The proceeds would 69 finance a new early childhood education center in Lino Lakes. 70 Mayor Reinert opened the public hearing. There being no one present wishing to speak, the public 71 hearing was closed. 72 Council Member Stoesz moved to approve Resolution No. 18-68 as presented. Council Member 73 Manthey seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 74 75 ADMINISTRATION DEPARTMENT REPORT 76 3A) Consider Appointment of Accounting Clerk/ Utility Billing – Human Resources Manager 77 Bartholomew reviewed staff’s recommendation to hire Yelena Brook to the open position. She noted 78 Ms. Brook’s qualifications and education. 79 Council Member Rafferty moved to approve the appointment of Yelena Brook as recommended. 80 Council Member Maher seconded the motion. Motion carried on a voice vote. 81 82 3B) Consider 2nd Reading and Passage of Ordinance No. 04-18, Amending Chapter 301 of 83 the City Code relating to Public Parks and Grounds, providing an exception to alcohol 84 restriction for community festival – City Clerk Bartell reported that a local restaurant is interested 85 in offering food and craft beer at Lino Park during this year’s Blue Heron Days festival.
