CITY COUNCIL <br />AGENDA ITEM 6B <br /> <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Diane Hankee, City Engineer <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: August 27, 2018 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Consider Resolution No. 18-110 Approving Site <br />Improvement Performance Agreement Love to Grow On <br />(6499 Lakota Trail) <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: 3/5 <br /> <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br /> <br />On May 14, 2018 the City Council approved a Conditional Use Permit for the Love to Grow On <br />childcare center. The project is located at 6499 Lakota Trail, southeast corner of CSAH 34 <br />(Birch Street) and CSAH 49 (Hodgson Road). <br /> <br />Per Section 1007.020 Site and Building Plan Review: <br /> <br />(1) General. All site and building plans for multiple family, commercial, industrial or <br />public/semi-public uses shall require review and approval by the Community Development <br />Department. <br /> <br />(5) Performance Standards. (d) The applicant shall, upon completion of site and building plan <br />review, submit to the City an agreement that they will cause all improvements called for in the <br />site and building plan review to be completed within the time specified by the City. Performance <br />of such contracts shall be secured by the amount submitted at application or additional amount as <br />may be required by the City Council. <br /> <br />The attached Site Improvement Performance Agreement addresses the site improvements for the <br />building and provides for submittal of all required fees and securities. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of Resolution No. 18-110. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br /> <br />1.
