1. Here is a picture of where the path on
12th avenue abruptly ends.

2. This is where the path ends and spits out onto
the road on 12th Avenue with very little
shoulder. Definitely not wide enough for a
wheelchair or bike trailer and not safe for
children to ride, even closely supervised.
The trail is only discontinued for .1 mile.

3. Here is where the trail continues across the street on
the north side of the road. There is no trail on the south side of the
road for .1 mile. Only that tiny shoulder. To get to Brandywood Park
you would turn right here on White Oak Drive and continue on the
neighborhood streets to the park. This path that you see on the
north side continues and connects with the Rice Creek Chain of Lakes
by crossing Birch Street.

4. For reference, here is a picture of the beginning of
the trail from the Trappers Crossing Neighborhood
to Birch Park. It is a beautiful trail, but completely
inaccessible to wheelchairs, bikes or strollers with
25 steps.

Thank you so much for your consideration. Please let
me know if there is anything we can do to help make these
parks and trails more accessible and safe.
ashley.swenson@gmail.com 801-971-9670
