1 <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />WORK SESSION STAFF REPORT <br />ITEM NO. 6 <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Jolleen Chaika, City Clerk <br />WORK SESSION DATE: April 1, 2024 <br />TOPIC: Review/Discuss 2014 Fire Department Analysis <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br />BACKGROUND <br />At the March 25, 2024, City Council work session, Council held preliminary, high-level discussion <br />on the topic of further analysis of the fire department and the current public safety model <br />following Mayor Rafferty distribution of the 2014 Fire Department Analysis on March 11, 2024. <br />In an effort to allow for a more robust discussion, it was the consensus of the Council to move <br />this item to the April work session. The 2014 Fire Department Analysis has been attached again <br />for reference. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL DIRECTION <br />None.
