CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24-52 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING QUOTES, AND AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION <br />CONTRACT, WATER SERVICE IMPROVEMENTS <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to a request for quotes for the construction of Water Service <br />Improvements, quotes were received, and tabulated: <br />CONTRACTOR <br />BASE <br />QUOTE <br />Valley -Rich Co., Inc. <br />$28,042000 <br />Dunaway Construction <br />$28,190000 <br />Park Construction Company <br />$29,868060 <br />C.W. Houle, Inc. <br />$31,532000 <br />WHEREAS, it appears the Valley -Rich Co., Inc. of Chaska, Minnesota is the lowest possible <br />bidder for the base quote. <br />WHEREAS, the funding for the project is from State Aid funds and a cost share with the City <br />of Shoreview. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that the <br />Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Valley - <br />Rich Co., Inc. for the construction of the Base quote of the Water Service Improvements <br />in the amount of $28,042.00; <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of lino Lakes this 13t" day of May, 2024. <br />Rob�'Raff�rty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Hannah Lynch, City Cler <br />
