<br />4 <br /> <br />Public Safety Director John Swenson requested consideration of Resolution 24-26; he <br />reviewed the background of the grant and advised the purpose of of the grant is to <br />address the shortage of law enforcement professionals. <br />i. Motion to: Approve Resolution 24-26 Authorizing Grant Agreement for the 2024 <br />Intensive Comprehensive Peace Officer Education and Training Grant <br /> <br />B. Approval of Resolution 24-27, Authorizing Grant Agreement for the 2024 Pathways to <br />Policing Reimbursement Grant <br />Public Safety Director John Swenson requested consideration of Res. 24-27; he reviewed <br />the background of the grant, which has been around several years; this grant is designed <br />to increase the applicant pool for police officers across the state. This allows for <br />individuals who do not have a college degree to apply. He explained the match terms as <br />provided in his staff report. <br /> <br />i. Motion to: Approve Resolution 24-27 Authorizing Grant Agreement for the 2024 <br />Pathways to Policing Reimbursement Grant <br /> <br />5. PUBLIC SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />No report was presented. <br /> <br />6. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br />i. Watermark 7th Addition <br />City Planner Katie Larsen presented three resolutions for Council’s consideration related <br />to the 7th Addition of the Watermark development. The 7th Addition plat proposes 106 <br />single family lots and eight (8) outlots. <br />i. Consider Resolution No. 24-23, Approving PUD Final Plan/Final Plat <br />ii. Consider Resolution No. 24-24, Approving Development Agreement and <br />Planned Unit Development Agreement <br />iii.
