CITY OF LINO LAKES <br />RESOLUTION NO. 24-79 <br /> <br />APPROVING THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY, <br />MINNESOTA FOR STREET LIGHTING ELECTRIC SERVICE AT THE CSAH 49 <br />(HODGSON ROAD) AND CSAH 32 (COUNTY ROAD J) ROUNDABOUT <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the CSAH 49 (Hodgson Rd) and CSAH 32 (County Road J) intersection is being <br />reconstructed with a roundabout. The project is led by Anoka County in coordination <br />with Ramsey County and the Cities of the Lino Lakes and Shoreview, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County will be responsible for the roundabout street lighting electric <br />service; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes is installing decorative lighting along the north side of CR <br />J and north along Hodgson Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the parties agree that it is in their best interest that the street lighting <br />electric service costs be shared; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Minn. Stat. § 471.59 authorizes political subdivisions of the state to enter <br />into joint powers agreements for the joint exercise of powers common to each. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by The City Council of The City of Lino Lakes <br />approves the Joint Powers Agreement with Ramsey County for street lighting electric <br />service at the CSAH 49 (Hodgson Rd) and CSAH 32 (County Road J) Roundabout.
