1 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 1J <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Sarah Cotton, City Administrator <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: June 10, 2024 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Massage License Renewal Applications <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The Council is being asked to consider Resolution No. 24-76, Approving Massage License <br />Renewal Applications. <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />Existing enterprise and individual therapist massage licenses in the City of Lino Lakes will expire <br />on June 30, 2024. The following establishments have submitted renewal applications for an <br />enterprise license: <br /> <br />Name of Business <br />Allure Salon & Spa, Inc. <br />Everyday Kneads LLC <br />Heather's Healing Hands <br />Revitalize Therapeutic Massage <br /> <br />The following massage therapists have submitted renewal applications for their individual <br />therapist license: <br /> <br />Name of Massage Therapist Doing Business At <br />Alicea White Allure Salon & Spa, Inc. <br />Emilie Krienert Everyday Kneads LLC <br />Heather Lewis Heather's Healing Hands <br />Rebeka Olson Revitalize Therapeutic Massage <br />Sara Thornbloom Heather's Healing Hands <br /> <br />City Code requires that all renewal applicants submit to a background investigation by the Lino <br />Lakes Public Safety Department. Applicants are also required to provide a Certificate of <br />Compliance with MN Workers’ Compensation Law, as well as pay applicable fees. <br /> <br />53
