• Problems are the greatest driver of design solution <br />• Rather than a viewed as a deficiency, we choose to assess the high concentration of fertilizer on <br />the site as a unique opportunity to drive the design and implementation of a beautiful and <br />ecologically minded landscape plan. <br />• Embedded with Green Infrastructure solutions, the residential development will be complimented <br />by lush green plantings, strong healthy trees, dynamic bodies of water, and perennial gardens. <br />• These elements will greatly increase the quality of life for residents and provide a valuable amenity <br />for the Lino Lakes Community to showcase sustainable planning solutions put into action. <br />• In assessing remediation strategies, it is also important to differentiate between point source and <br />non-point source solutions and tailor our design approach accordingly. In areas of particularly high <br />concentration of nutrients planting and land forming will differ than areas with lower concentrations. <br />• Over nutrification of the soil is like a balance sheet. Currently the site is presumed to contain high <br />levels of nitrogen and phosphorus due to sod farming.
