1 <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />REGULAR MEETING STAFF REPORT <br />AGENDA ITEM 1G <br /> <br />STAFF ORIGINATOR: Roberta Colotti, CMC, City Clerk <br /> <br />MEETING DATE: July 22, 2024 <br /> <br />TOPIC: Resolution No. 24-101 Authorizing the Issuance of a Solicitor <br />Permit to Sunburn Construction (DBA Everlight Solar) <br /> <br />VOTE REQUIRED: Simple Majority <br />______________________________________________________________________________ <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The Council is being asked to Consider Resolution No. 24-101 Authorizing the Issuance of a <br />Solicitor Permit to Sunburn Construction (DBA Everlight Solar) <br /> <br />BACKGROUND <br />Everlight Solar located at 10501 Winnetka Ave. N., Suite 170, Brooklyn Park, MN, has submitted <br />a Solicitor’s License application to the City Clerk’s office. <br /> <br />The City has received all the necessary forms required to issue a Solicitor License. The Lino <br />Lakes Public Safety Department has performed the background check and indicated no reason <br />to deny the business license or approvals for the salespeople listed on the attached resolution. <br />The application is on file in the City Clerk’s office for review. <br /> <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Consider Resolution No. 24-101 Authorizing the Issuance of a Solicitor Permit to Sunburn <br />Construction (DBA Everlight Solar) for a period of six (6) months. <br /> <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />Resolution No. 24-101
