WHEREAS, the City received a land use application for Drilling Estates preliminary plat <br />("Preliminary Plat"); and <br />WHEREAS, City staff completed review of the Preliminary Plat based on the following <br />information: <br />Certificate of Survey with Resource Inventory Map prepared by E.G. Rud & Sons, Inc. <br />dated March 21, 2024 <br />• Preliminary Plat prepared by E.G. Rud & Sons, Inc. dated March 21, 2024 <br />• Final Plat prepared by E.G. Rud & Sons, Inc. dated March 21, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning & Zoning Board held a public hearing on May 8, 2024 and <br />recommended approval of the Preliminary Plat. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Lino Lakes, Minnesota that: <br />I I yk - 1 -011 � I Eel 140yel 2 <br />Per Section 1001.013, Premature Subdivision: <br />(1) General. Any concept plan, preliminary plat or final plat deemed premature pursuant to <br />the following criteria shall be denied by the City Council. <br />(2) Conditions for establishing a premature subdivision. A subdivision maybe deemed <br />premature should any of the following conditions not be met. <br />(a) Consistency with the Comprehensive Plan. Including any of the following: <br />1. Land use plan; <br />2. Transportation plan; <br />3. Utility (sewer and water) plans; <br />4. Local water management plan; <br />5. Capital improvement plan; and <br />6. Growth management policies, including MUSA allocation criteria. <br />The Preliminary Plat is consistent with the goals and policies of the comprehensive plan in <br />regards to land use,, housing, economic development., transportation,, local water management <br />plan, sanitary sewer, water supply and parks, greenway and trails. <br />
